Abrielle Kuo is an actor, host, producer, and director based in Los Angeles and New York City. Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, she moved to the United States at the age of 18. Recently, Abrielle worked as an interpreter for Tsai Ming-Liang: An American Cinematheque Retrospective at Los Feliz Theater, Aero Theatre, and the Egyptian Theatre Hollywood. She frequently hosts live events and produces live-streams for TikTok Shop and other websites, engaging with audiences and presenting brands in real-time.
A beneficiary of the O-1 Artist Visa, Abrielle’s bilingual background in Mandarin and English enriches her creative identity, bridging Eastern and Western perspectives. Her career has included collaborations with esteemed artists such as Knud Adams (“Ventura” at Primary Stages), Nien-Tsu Hsieh (“Ballad from Six Feet Under” Taiwan National Tour), Serena Williams (for the “Be Seen, Be Heard” campaign), Irene Ashu (Hamsters Manifesto), Jesse Freedman (“The Talmud” at Target Margin Theater), Kaneza Schaal (“Cartography” at The Kennedy Center and New Victory Theater 42nd Street), and Academy of Villains Dance Company (as a 2012-2013 company member).
In addition, Abrielle is the founder and creative director of Monologue Workshop, a performing arts studio specializing in solo performance coaching and the production of new works.
